The weather is Central Florida is extremely hot now. The fishing has slowed down a lot.
The water temperature is 85 – 87 degrees on most lakes. The water levels are also LOW!
Where are the fish? Go DEEP WATER fishing, 16 to 20 feet deep.
The Winter Haven chain is doing good for now. Shiners are the easiest way to catch bass. Rig Carolina style with 5/16 sinker to go to the bottom.
Plastic worms are good as well, fish slowly on a long leader.
You can get some nice bass at the time of the year.
Fish SLOW and be patient!
